butterfly corn
Easy to prepare and easy to finish!
What is butterfly corn? This is the typical form of popcorn. The butterfly pops up like a wing and can therefore be called a butterfly.
What distinguishes him? Butterfly popcorn is crunchier because, compared to mushrooms, it doesn't pop up closed, but pops open as a whole. It is perfect for adding sugar, salt or seasoning to popcorn because the ingredients stick particularly well to the butterfly-like shape.
What is the difference to mushroom corn? Due to its shape, the butterfly often leaves crumbs or fragments in the bowl or bag.

Mushroom Corn
Advanced level - with lots of heat!
What is mushroom corn? The mushroom corn kernels pop up spherically and are reminiscent of a mushroom head. That is also the reason for the naming: Mushroom means fungus.
What distinguishes him? Our mushroom corn is for the more advanced among you, because it requires a lot of heat and a good pot that is also heat-resistant. Otherwise it can happen that the corn pops up as a butterfly or the popcorn burns. It is perfect for caramelizing and enrobing toppings.
What is the difference to the Butterfly? Although it is more difficult to use than the butterfly corn, there are no crumbs or fragments in the bowl or bag later due to the round, closed popping up.
Our tip: Use vanilla popcorn sugar for a particularly caramel taste!
