Winter is here and with it (hopefully) thick white snowflakes! In this cozy time leading up to Christmas, it's especially nice to curl up at home with a bowl of popcorn. So that your popcorn enjoyment is really heated up, we have a delicious but spicy popcorn recipe for you today: HOT CHILI POPCORN! Perfect for cold winter days!
FOR 4 PORTIONS
INGREDIENTS HOT CHILI POPCORN
- 2-3 tbsp oil
- 50g Popcorn loop popcorn corn
- 1 red chili pepper
- a clove of garlic
- ½ tsp ground coriander
- 1 shallot
- Salt
- oil
PREPARATION
The popcorn as usual with the popcorn loop, but without sugar and salt. De-stalk the chilli and chop finely. Peel the shallot and garlic and dice very finely. Mix the chili, shallot, garlic, coriander with a little salt and oil in a mortar and pestle to form a fine paste. Place in a pan and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes. Mix in the popcorn. Pour the popcorn into serving bowls, garnish with a fresh red chilli and serve. Already finished!
